Diamond hollow drills
A specialty of the company Günther are diamond drills.
Diamond hollow drills are not massive, as the related twist drills, but to be considered as small tubes and, thus, hollow.
This fact has the advantage, that there is no “dead point” at the top of the drill, leading to a fast and clean penetration into the material.
These drills have the additional advantage of being cooled interiorly.
Due to this kind of production, the need of energy and pressure is very low.
Miscellaneous materials can thus be worked, as e.g. stone, glass, glass fibre reinforced plastic and ceramics, etc..
