Diamond tools
The diamond is the strongest known mineral. Its grinding hardness is even 140 times higher than those of corundum.
The hardness of a diamond differs on its particular crystalline surfaces, fact which enables the working of it.
We have taken advantage of these characteristics in order to produce tools required for different fields of application.
Various kinds of bonds are applied. On one hand there are electroplated, i.e. galvanic bonds and, on the other hand, also in metal, synthetic resin as well as ceramic bonds.
All the manufacturing possibilities are chosen according to the special fields of application.
The range of our products contains beyond standard products, which are available on short term, also tools made on special request.
Characteristics of the different bonds:
Diamond tools in galvanic bonds
• the diamond grain is normally applied on one layer (multi-layers are also possible)
• high cutting ability
• applicable for wet and dry grinding
• diamonds or CBN applicable as grinding grain
Diamond tools in metal bonds
• diamond grain is mixed with powdered metal in a certain mixing ratio and compressed by heating and high pressure
• applicable for wet grinding
• applicable for stone, glass and ceramics, etc.
• diamonds or CBN applicable as grinding grain
Diamond tools in plastic bonds
• similar to metal bonds, however, the diamond grain is embedded into synthetic resin.
• soft and even grinding
• applicable for wet grinding
• optimally appropriated for grinding of hard metal
• Diamond or CBN applicable as grinding grain
